What stuck is the importance of someone that values you. From that point on, you can build. Great and inspiring post!

You made me remember a quote I love:

"Sometimes when you're in a dark place you think you've been buried, but you've actually been planted.”

This resonates so deeply. The idea that success is limited has been ingrained in so many of us, but the truth is, we rise higher when we lift others along the way. Thank you for sharing this. Let’s keep making space for one another.

Thank you, Blossom! That sting is all too familiar, but naming it is the first step to breaking free from it.

I love this, Sara. I am a scientist and academic and it is a highly competitive and non-equal field, especially between men and women. I appreciate how you advocate for people supporting and lifting each other up. I also believe that genuine people know that they cannot do everything alone, learning is life-long and by going together we will go further than alone.

Thank you, Dr. Priyanka! I really appreciate your perspective, especially coming from the academic and scientific space where the challenges can be even greater. You’re so right—learning is lifelong, and the more we uplift each other, the further we all go. Grateful to have voices like yours in this conversation!

Indeed this happens to anyone and anywhere at least once. And I have had my fair share of people trying to pull me down, but I just cut them out of my life. Hard truth. What's important is we keep quality friends in our lives and lift each other up. Now I have a small circle but the best people and we always encourage and celebrate each other's goals and successes 😊❤️

Absolutely, Astrid! The people we surround ourselves with make all the difference. Quality over quantity every time! Having a circle that truly supports and uplifts each other is priceless. Grateful for communities that celebrate success instead of competing over it!

I love this Sara. I have worked in that cut throat stab in the back environment too. I don’t support it. I believe there is enough for everyone and as sisters we should be working together not against each other.

Exactly Sue!! That kind of environment can be exhausting, and it’s so refreshing to see more of us rejecting it. There really is enough for everyone, and when we work together instead of against each other, we all go further. Appreciate you sharing your experience!

Love this! I’ve absolutely experienced this and had this mindset. But not recently - women are learning that we’re better together!

Good on you for calling it out!

I appreciate this, Lindsey! It’s encouraging to see more women embracing the idea that we’re stronger together. I think we’re unlearning a lot of old narratives, and it’s powerful to be part of that shift. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

You make a great point! Competition exists everywhere, and while focusing on our own paths is important, I believe we can be both strong and supportive at the same time. Lifting others up doesn’t mean we lose our edge—it actually makes us stronger. Appreciate your perspective on this!
